Today, May 23, 2007: To all the “Crazy Ones” in Voxtropolis, the City of Voices
We’ve recently been reviewing the preliminary plans for the future development of Voxtropolis. Next month you will be invited to get — if you want — a sneek preview of where the City is going in the days to come. Stay tuned for details.
We think you will be enthused about the direction of the most amazing cyber-community in the galaxy. Here, you never blog alone. And the party is just about to get started.

Have you heard about M?
Voxtropolis has teamed up with M to form an amazing team. Post here in Voxtropolis and get heard twice.

May 18, 2007: STARVING ARTISTS
Yep, that’s right. How can you help? We need a gig in the Denver area and the Phoenix area to help some young starving artists make it to California. They need at minimum enough gas money, some housing, and pocket change for food to help them on their way. So, if you’re an event promoter, church planter, pastor, DJ or anyone who wants to have a cool out-of-town band for their event at the beginning of July, let us know at alex@voxtropolis.com.

May 17, 2007: TABOO
There are two things we should NEVER talk about: religion and politics.
Let’s start with religion.

Starting next week, we’ll be running shorts snippets of the presentations from
the HUMANA 2.0 convergence last February in Orlando, Fl. There will be a place
to discuss the snippets on the City of Voices site.

Starting next week you’ll hear from

  • Dr. Gerardo Marti [PhD in Sociology from the University of Southern California and author of a Mosaic of Believers]
  • David Arcos [founder of the Urban Poets and Creative Arts Director from Mosaic in Los Angeles]
  • Thorsten Moritz [PhD in New Testament and Prof at Bethel Seminary]
  • Erwin McManus [Cultural Architect of Mosaic Los Angeles and author of Soul Cravings]
  • and Alex McManus [the Janitor here in the City of Voices]

Invite a friend to listen in.

Also, inside on the Rhythm Planet stage, Jettison Never performs an original song.

Welcome to the City of Voices, Voxtropolis.com. Enjoy.
