Culture Pub™ Central

A Culture Pub is a performing arts experience where local independent artists can make their voices heard.

The Culture Pub venue may be the living room of a small apartment in Dusseldorf, Germany where friends gather to taste wine and listen to live music or a rented facility in Southern California transformed into a gathering place and performing arts venue. Whether you’re in Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, London or Madrid, keep your ears open for buzz about Voxtropolis.
The Culture Pub was envisioned by Alex and Niza McManus as a way of developing community among local independant artists, bohemians, thinkers and activists. The Network began to grow as others began to see a new way of “being” and working together to make the world a better place.
We currently have Culture Pubs in Sacramento and Thousand Oaks, both in California. Our newest manifestations are in Sheffield, UK –where they recently (Summer of 07) had their first Vox Party — and Houston, Texas (Spring 2008).
Another way the Underground is networked is through business ventures that enjoy creating a space where local artists can make their voices heard. These become Voxtropolis hot spots. One example of this is House Blend Cafe near Orlando, Fl.
Culture Pubs are “concrete world” expressions of The City of Voices, Voxtropolis.com. [A redesigned is being conceptualized so get ready.]
